Who We Are

The Electoral Hub, an affiliate of the Initiative for Research, Innovation and Advocacy in Development, was established in 2019. It is conceptualized to complement the roles and activities of the different institutions, stakeholders and drivers of the electoral process and governance by providing back-end support service to stakeholders and institutions of the electoral process. This is in recognition of the lack of adequate data and resources on elections in Nigeria. The Electoral Hub was founded to fill this gap by conducting research, impact advocacy, and targeted trainings, all of which are aimed at improving the integrity and credibility of our electoral process.

The main focus of The Electoral Hub’s intervention in the electoral governance process is on complementing the roles and activities of the different institutions, stakeholders and drivers of the electoral process by providing back-end support services to them and providing solutions to improve accountability and strengthen the integrity and credibility of the electoral process. Since its establishment, The Electoral Hub has grown into a leading research, knowledge and advocacy hub with the capacity to conduct ground-breaking research and analysis of electoral issues. The Electoral Hub conducts its programmes with financial support from donor agencies and other philanthropic sources.
