Volunteers

We invite students and practitioners to volunteer with us. Volunteers will work under the supervision of the Team Lead. Their main tasks will be to support the organisation with research, compilation of data/materials, and other administrative tasks as may be given from time to time. Essential qualities are strong research skills, writing skills, and the ability to present information in a clear and easily accessible manner. General knowledge of electoral processes and systems is desirable. Volunteers work remotely, so we accept volunteers from all over the world.

These stakeholders play vital roles in ensuring the integrity, transparency, and fairness of elections through activities such as oversight, monitoring, voter education, enforcement of laws, and active participation.
Jobs
Researcher

We invite applications from experienced researchers. The researcher will work under the supervision of the Team Lead and in close collaboration with relevant team members. The researcher’s main tasks will be to:
- Conduct desk research using a variety of data and materials.
- Conduct analysis of primary and secondary data.
- Write technical papers and policy briefs, paying attention to clarity, soundness and accuracy.
- Carry out other relevant research tasks as requested.
The following are the requirements for this job:
- BSc or BA in Social Sciences or Law
- Proven experience in research and writing
- Strong command of English
- Sound knowledge of citation and referencing
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Basic knowledge of electoral processes and systems
