The Constitution Women Want! Special Seats Bill for Women

On December 8, 2025, The Electoral Hub- IRIAD led a delegation of women’s rights organisations and advocates on an important advocacy visit to His Excellency, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, NNPP National Leader, and former governor of Kano State, to advance discussions and secure support for the Special Seats Bill for Women.

We appreciate His Excellency for the warm reception, constructive engagement, and his positive commitment to strengthening women’s representation in Nigeria’s political and governance spaces. His assurance to convey our message to relevant stakeholders particularly Senators and Hon. Members of NASS is a meaningful step toward a more inclusive democracy.
