IRIAD – The Electoral Hub celebrates the International Day of Parliamentarism, recognizing the crucial role that parliaments play in democratic governance worldwide. Parliament serves as the voice of the people, representing diverse perspectives and ensuring inclusive decision-making. They are fundamental to shaping laws and policies and promoting accountability.
 
Similarly, the National Assembly, as the Nigerian parliament, serves as the voice of the Nigerian people, representing our diverse perspectives and ensuring inclusive decision-making. It is at the forefront of legislation, policies, and oversight that impact our lives.
 
We therefore, call upon our National Assembly to increase their commitment to transparency, accountability, and citizen participation. Let us work together to strengthen our democratic institutions and foster inclusive governance in Nigeria.
