Public Service day 2023

IRIAD – The Electoral Hub joins the rest of the world to commemorate Public Service Day. Public servants play a key role in societal advancement as custodians of government business with the responsibility of serving the needs of the people. We recognize and commend their efforts in advancing social progress and national development.

We also call on them to uphold the core values of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in their service to the public. As we mark this year’s public service day, we recognize the need to obliterate corruption, inefficiency, non-professionalism, and redundancy in public sectors and workers as a necessary prerequisite for national institutional development.

We therefore implore relevant stakeholders to make institutional reforms and put mechanisms in place to ensure efficiency in the public service.
